is it the future yet?

I'm glad they got this finished (sans interior) before the financial crisis hit Dubai. Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Dubai. But I do love bold architecture. A lot of people have told me they find this building to be ugly. My opinion differs. Additionally, I'm not scared of heights generally but oh man I got a little vertigo just from watching this video.
